Glyntawel is an idyllically situated, beamed holiday cottage with a private aspect and is a wing of Glyngarw, our home, a typical Welsh smallholding of 25 acres. You approach along the 400 m drive bordered by fields grazed by cattle in summer, and bridge a stream - the Nant Fothau - which meanders through our garden valley to feed our small lake, then wends its way to join the Irish Sea at Cwmtydu, a NT Cove four miles distant.

Glyntawel (quiet glen)is a traditional Welsh stone and slate building, double- glazed and refurbished to the highest standard, heated by an oil-fired Rayburn and a woodburning stove. The beamed upstairs lounge has views towards the lake and over the playfield. Accommodation is for six people. Glyntawel is ideally situated for exploring this wonderful - and often overlooked - corner of Wales, as a base for an activity holiday or as a haven to 'chill-out'.
